Ursula Ferrigno, celebrated Italian cook and food writer will be at RSJ on this date.

The lunch starts at 1.00pm and you will be given a glass of wine on arrival.

 

Vendemmia

Vendemmia, the Italian harvest – this is surely the best time to enjoy sun ripened produce. The light is changing at this time of year but the days remain cool and bright – nature’s bounty is to be celebrated and enjoyed!

Antipasti

Melanzane con carciofi – Aubergine with artichoke

Zucchine alla griglia – Grilled courgettes

Involtinidi pepperoni – Stuffed peppers

Risotto ai frutti di mare – Seafood risotto

Pizza con radicchio, papate e fontina – Pizza with radicchio, potatoes & fontina cheese

Pomodorial forno – Roasted tomatoes

Insalata mista – Mixed salad
Torta di limone e mandorle –Lemon & almond tart
Formaggio e fichi di stagione - specially selected seasonal cheese and figs

 Fine Sicilian Olive oil will be available for purchase on the day along with signed copies of Ursula’s new book “A gourmet guide to oil & vinegar”
