Bunch of grapes on roundabout: Bourgueil
Early 2012 at RSJ Restaurant
We kick off our 2012 tasting dinners' programme with a look at the twin appellations of Bourgueil and Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil.
This will be an opportunity to taste some really interesting wines from this attractive region of the Loire, including wines from stellar vignerons, Yannick Amirault, Pierre Breton and Frédéric Mabileau who are lifting the winemaking in the region to new heights. Amongst the wines to be tasted will be the 1989 Bourgueil ‘Les Perrières’ from Pierre Breton as well as other good vintages from the past 20 years.
Wine tasting with three-course dinner starts 7.15pm. £48.65 per person.
