Ursula (hands clasped) teaching Italian cooking
in the RSJ's kitchen: March 2016

Italian Lunch at RSJ Restaurant: Sunday 17th April 2016
We are delighted that renowned Italian cook and writer, Ursula Ferrigno is coming to RSJ on the above date to cook and talk about Umbria , the ‘green heart’ of Italy.

There are a few places available in the kitchen to learn from Ursula [£30.00 per person]

The lunch will start at 1.00pm  [£32.00  per person].

Umbria

Umbria, the ‘green heart’ of Italy is the only region in central and Southern Italy entirely surrounded by land and the beautiful soft, hilly landscape is like a Renaissance painting.

Ursula has spent many happy years teaching cookery in this area and has grown to love the food as much as the landscape.

Menu:

Crostini di Olive – Olive toasts & lentiche toasts

Tagliatelle alla Olive – Pasta with olive & mushroom sauce

Sardine alla scapece  – Sardines in spicy sauce

Fave stuffate al cacio –  Broad beans with goat’s cheese

Albicocche torta  –  Apricot tart

Formaggio  –  Specially selected cheese
